One swim session typically lasts between 40-60 minutes depending on how your dog feels on a particular day. No dog is expected to swim for the entire time. Rather, the session includes relaxing positions in the water to enhance the physical, mental and emotional well-being of your dog. The benefits of the pool can sometimes best be realized by floating and relaxing in the buoyant water.
We also offer reiki treatments for dogs and people.
Swim Sessions for Dogs
- One swim session (dogs less than 100 pounds) is $95.
- One swim session (dogs 100 pounds or more) is $100.
- A swim package*, consisting of 6 swims to be scheduled at your convenience is
- $540 (dogs less than 100 pounds)
- $570 (dogs 100 pounds or more)
*Swim packages are non-refundable unless your dog is physically unable to swim and complete the package. Packages must be used within 90 days.
Dogs who have a medical need to swim but who can not otherwise afford to swim regularly may be considered for the Winston Bren Swim Scholarship.
Reiki for Dogs
- $50 for an in-home session
- $20 extra if included in a swim session at our facility (approximately 15 minutes extra)
Reiki for People
- $80 for a session at Gunny's Rainbow.
Cancellation Policy
There are a limited number of appointments available every week. Therefore, if you need to cancel, please give 48 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee. A cancellation less than 48 hours before you appointment will result in a $45 cancellation fee. A cancellation less than 24 hours in advance will incur the full charge. The only exception to this policy is if your dog develops diarrhea, as this comes without warning and he or she will not be allowed to swim until is resolves.
Payment Options
We accept cash or checks at time of service. If you'd like to use a credit card, you must pre-pay using PayPal (we do not have the ability to charge credit cards at the pool). If you have never been to Gunny's Rainbow, please read the Visit page and make an appointment before paying.
